For Previous Reference: Important Update regarding the printer change:

Thank you for your continued patience as we’ve worked through this complicated and incredibly frustrating situation. We know it’s been over a month since our last update, and we want to share the full picture of what’s been happening and why, and allow as much transparency as we can now. 

After receiving tracking details in October from the manufacturer, we believed the books were finally on their way to us after their attempt to resolve the previous manufacturing issues on the first run. 

Unfortunately, it has since become clear that this information was not truthful, and the books were never shipped to us. This has been devastating for us to discover, as we have previously received completed editions from them that would indicate we could expect a finished product despite the delays. 

After issuing a very strict ultimatum and having to move forward with legal action it has been made clear they cannot fulfill their commitments.

We’ve held up on this update until we could confirm with legal counsel on the best action to take and in hopes that they would wish to rectify the situation and save the integrity of the professional relationship.

Here’s what actions have been taken to immediately resolve this once and for all:

• New Printer: We’ve entrusted the production of these books to our current reliable U.S. printer, who have already produced the stunning dust jackets you’ve come to love, and several of our other titles that have already been delivered to customers. They have everything in hand and are aware of everything these books have been through.
• Expedited Timeline: The new printer is fast-tracking the process and has put these on priority to minimize further delays while ensuring the books meet our high standards.
• Production timeline including shipping to us: 15-20 days (For clarification purposes, this is business days. Everything else we have received from this printer has been solid on their delivery estimations). 
• Cancellations: We know due to this delay you may not prefer to wait further for your shipment, please email support at help@lithavenbooktique.com with your order number and "CANCEL ORDER" in the subject bar. We are always happy to cancel & refund any orders that experience an extensive delay.
• Legal Action: We are taking legal steps to address the issues with the original manufacturer to hold them accountable for their role in this prolonged delay.
• Progress Sharing: We will be sharing concrete production progress until books arrive in our hands.

We know words can only go so far when you’ve waited so long and how much you’ve invested in these editions, and we take that responsibility seriously. We cannot apologize enough for how this situation has unfolded. This has been an incredibly difficult and humbling experience, and while we wish it could have been avoided and we regret not taking this route sooner, we are doing everything in our power to make this right. We are now including a second extra custom art print in every box, as a thank you for waiting. Additionally, our team is very excited for you to read the exclusive bonus chapter included in this edition!

We are committed to ensuring these books are delivered as quickly as possible with the new printer while maintaining our quality many of you have previously received with our other editions.

Updated November 9th:

We want to thank everyone for their incredible patience with the date shifts that have occurred with the fulfillment of Etched in Frost. These editions were expected to ship within a certain timeline following the live sale, and we completely understand how frustrating the extended wait has been without a more immediate update.

The editions were set to promptly enter quality control during and shortly after the live sale. During inspection, our team identified some areas that required closer attention to meet our production standards. At the same time, we have also been addressing several earlier preorders that required unexpected additional care and inspection, which in turn affected the overall fulfillment flow. This was greatly disheartening for the team, as we’ve been extremely excited to get these out with the new edition style.

With those adjustments underway and our expanded warehouse space now in the process of being organized to support smoother fulfillment, Etched in Frost is one of the next in line alongside a few other projects to move through its final stages. We are currently working with our manufacturing partners to address the noted production standard issues for a portion of the product. We are also working to put together an updated confirmed timeline/set of shipping dates soon, so everyone knows when to expect their edition to begin arriving to their door.

We truly appreciate the patience and understanding everyone has shown during this process. Once shipment begins, orders will be processed in organized batches by edition type, as originally intended. Address update reminders will be sent before fulfillment starts since there has been some lag time prior to shipping.

We know this has exceeded the originally anticipated timeframe, and we want you to know we see both the frustration and concern this has caused, just as we see the patience, kindness, and excitement shown by everyone waiting for this edition. We want only the best for this beautiful edition, and for Jax and Jolie to reach their readers in the way they deserve.

The Poisoner editions are currently in coordination with our fulfillment team as we prepare for quality control and shipment. While they were initially expected to begin moving through this process sooner, fulfillment scheduling was briefly adjusted to accommodate overlapping shipments from several other preorders that required additional handling and packaging care.

Our team is finalizing batch organization and quality control timing to ensure all editions of The Poisoner receive the same level of inspection and attention as our other collector’s editions. These will under-go an extra layer of inspection due to the intricacies of the slipcases as these were primarily hand assembled due to the clear window. Orders will move into fulfillment in back-to-back batches once QC is underway, and address-update reminders will be sent before shipping begins.

We are beyond excited for everyone to see these with their detailed debossing, and stunning slipcases. There’s truly nothing else like them among our editions so far.
